| When credits are used | At check-in | At booking |
| Card payment while booking | Not part of staff booking | Built in for members without a credit |
| Booking cutoff | Doesn't apply | 12 hours before by default, adjustable by category |
You don't have to pick one. Staff can still book members exactly the way they do today.

Member-booked appointments let your members book and pay for 1:1 sessions online, like personal training, assessments or sports massage. Coaches publish their availability, and members choose a service, a coach and an open time without contacting your staff.
Three things: online payments in OS, your appointment services and prices, and each coach's weekly availability. Payments are required for all online booking, including bookings paid with credits.
No. Anyone can browse your services and see open times without logging in. They sign in when they go to book.
When a member paying by card confirms, the time is held for about 15 minutes while they pay, and everyone else sees it as taken. Members using a credit book instantly.
If they cancel before your cutoff, the credit goes back to them to book another time. If they cancel late, the studio keeps the credit. The time opens up for someone else either way.
Cancelling returns a credit rather than refunding the card, the same way class packs already work.
No. If a member holds a credit that covers the appointment, it's used automatically.
Yes, exactly the way they do now. None of the online booking rules apply to bookings your staff create.
Yes. With linked family accounts, a parent can book, pay for and cancel a child's appointment. Open times are checked against the child's schedule, and both are asked to sign the waiver.
Members can book up to a year ahead. Online booking closes 12 hours before a session by default, and you can change that for any appointment category, all the way down to right up to the start time.
Yes. Set a coach's rate per appointment category, like one rate for 1:1 coaching and another for massage. The right rate is stamped on each booking automatically, with the coach's default rate as a fallback.
A booking confirmation, a receipt when they pay by card, and a waiver request if they haven't signed yours. Booking with a credit doesn't send a receipt, since nothing was purchased.
