What is Point of Sale in TeamBuildr OS?
Point of Sale is the staff checkout in TeamBuildr OS. Staff pick a member, add memberships, appointment packages or retail products to one cart, and collect payment by card, cash, emailed invoice or a payment marked as paid. Everything goes through as one transaction with one receipt.
Build the sale
Memberships, packages and products in one cart, including private offers and custom items.
See the cartSet the terms
Charge today or by a due date, start a membership later, and add a discount.
See the optionsGet paid your way
Card on file or a new card, cash with change due, or a payment you took somewhere else.
See payment methodsOne cart for everything they're buying.
Add a membership, a session package and a protein shake to the same sale. One transaction, one receipt, one confirmation email.
Memberships, packages and products
Packages and products take a quantity. Memberships show their monthly price, since they bill on a cycle.
Private memberships and packages
Listed under the public ones in Point of Sale. Staff, including the front desk, can sell them, and they never appear on the Pricing page.
Custom products
Selling something that isn't set up yet? Create it right in the sale and save it to your inventory for next time.
Pay for another customer
Ring up a sale for one member and have someone else pay for it. Handy for family billing, like a parent covering a child's membership, or for buying a package as a gift.
Charge today, or let them pay by a date.
Payment timing, membership start date and discounts are all set right in the sale, so the front desk never has to work around the system.
Process now or email an invoice
Charge the card at checkout, or email an invoice with a due date. The member can pay from the link, or the charge runs on the due date.
Membership start date
Sell today and start next week. Credits and the billing cycle begin on the start date, not the purchase date.
Discounts by amount or percent
Take 20% or $25 off the whole cart for promotions, staff or a member moving over from another platform.
Card, cash or already paid.
However the member pays, the sale gets recorded in the same place. Then print a receipt, start the next sale or jump to your sales report.
Card on file or a new card
The member's saved card is ready to go. Add a new one if they hand you a different card.
Cash with change due
Enter what the member hands you and TeamBuildr OS shows the change.
Mark as paid
Record a check, Venmo, Zelle or any payment taken outside TeamBuildr OS. Nothing is charged and the member gets no payment reminders.

| Question | Process now | Email invoice |
|---|---|---|
| When payment happens | At checkout, before the sale completes | By the due date you set |
| Payment due date | Locked to today | You choose it, like the 1st of next month |
| How the member pays | Staff charge the card on file or a new card | The member pays from the emailed link, or the payment is processed automatically on the due date |
| If they pay early | Already paid at checkout | The invoice is marked paid and nothing is charged on the due date |
| Membership start date | Set separately from payment | Set separately from payment |
| Best for | Walk-in purchases at the front desk | Deferred billing, scheduled charges and giving members time to pay |

Point of Sale questions
Memberships, appointment packages, single appointments sold a la carte, and retail products like apparel and drinks. You can add several items to one cart, and they go through as one transaction with one receipt and one confirmation email.
No. Point of Sale is staff-only. Members buy public memberships and packages on their own from your Pricing page.
Yes. Point of Sale lets you ring up a sale for one member and have another customer pay for it. That works well for family billing, like a parent paying for a child's membership, or for buying a package as a gift.
Yes. Choose Email invoice and set a payment due date. The member can pay from the emailed link before then, or the payment is processed automatically on the due date. If they pay early, nothing is charged on the due date.
Yes. Set a membership start date and the member's credits and billing cycle begin on that date, not the purchase date. Payment timing and start date are separate, so you can charge today and start next week. Every membership in one cart shares the same start date, so sell them separately if they need different dates.
Use Mark as paid for checks, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay or cash you already collected. No payment is processed, the invoice is marked paid, and the member won't get payment prompts or reminders.
Staff and the member are both notified. Update the payment method in the member's profile and run it again. TeamBuildr OS also retries the charge after 72 hours, for up to three attempts in total.
Promo codes only work when members check out on their own. To honor a promo at the front desk, add the same discount to the sale by amount or percentage.
Yes. When the cart has a membership or package, the member is emailed a waiver after the payment succeeds. With an emailed invoice, the waiver can also be signed on the invoice payment page. Retail products never trigger a waiver.
Yes. Sell their membership with a 100% one-time discount. That sets up the subscription and billing cycle in TeamBuildr OS without charging a member who already paid on the old platform. All future payments will be for the appropriate price of the membership.
Every sale, one checkout.
