Rack Performance is primarily a weight room timing system visually presents the athlete with a training station and work/rest time. The company recently expanded its product into offering an athlete management component. However, the functionality of the software has been defined as "beta level" by a recent AMS review which decided to omit Rack Performance.
Rack primarily targets high school programs and has little to no collegiate programs using its product.
Like TeamBuildr, Rack Performance provides unlimited support and a dedicated account manager with all subscription plans.
Although Rack does not have the ability to provide training programs, it does allow coaches to create training programs and determine the work and rest periods for the weight room timer.
Rack will offer unlimited athlete and coaches accounts, similar to TeamBuildr, and can create workout cards as well as athlete profiles. However, Rack does not provide robust max tracking such as sub-maxes, exercises tagging or other features necessary for customizable exercise databases.
Rack does not include video capabilities for instructional video nor athlete video assessment. Additionally, the service lacks a customizable evaluation recording and reporting module for testing and evaluating athletes.
TeamBuildr provides a full feature table on its pricing page here.
TeamBuildr offers much more functionality than Rack Performance at the same cost.
